Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps/Build Release engineer to join our team that focuses on designing and automating all aspects of software delivery to Saas and non-Saas based clients. An eye for automation along with Research, evaluate, implement are going to be keys to this position. Our team is at the center of the full software stack here at Princeton, providing you with exposure to a variety of technologies and engineering disciplines.

  • Experience with Windows and windows servers (Some exposure to linux is preferred but not required).
  • Must have experience automating software deployments in CICD stack.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continues Deployment using build servers (Teamcity)
  • Hands on Build and deployment Experience with .Net, Java applications.
  • Scripting experience is a must with either Python, PowerShell as well as windows scripting.
  • A good understanding of Test Driven Development.
  • Experience using configuration management systems is desired (such as Maven ,Ansible, Chef)
  • Experience Administrating source control System (Git, SVN )
  • Experience in SQL Server/Oracle
  • Experience integrating unit test in continuous integration tools like Teamcity will be a plus.
  • Experience with Octopus Codedeploy is desired but it is not mandatory.
  • Exposure to Container services like Docker is preferred.
  • Help define and document our processes to aid the firm across business lines achieve a more automated and efficient solution.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Knowledge of web technologies
  • Work closely with Developers and QA.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with development & infrastructure teams to design scalable systems that are deployed through automation methods.
  • Develop deployment scripts using Powershell , python
  • Use CM tools like Maven, Ansible, Chef .
  • Support Development teams in an agile environment
  • Develop and maintain Deployment/installation, configuration and operations procedures.
  • Develop procedures to automate various systems and tasks
  • Participate in deployment and configuration management activities..
