Senior Data Engineer/Architect BI/ReportingHaving 8 Years Senior Data Engineer/Architect Data Migration/ConversionSummary:We are seeking a highly accomplished Data Engineer with robust experience in leveraging Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) data for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing use cases.In this leadership role, you will be instrumental in using your Fusion SCM knowledge to help architect data pipeline frameworks, inform transformation logic and data modelling, and help educate the BI team on the nuances of Fusion SCM data to facilitate analytical needs.Key Responsibilities:Oracle SCM Expertise:Experience in developing pipelines to extract data from Oracle Fusion SCMExpert-level understanding of Fusion SCM data model, its relation to the Fusion SCM app and the processes It supportsDevelopment of OTBI an BIP reports, calling upon depth of experience/knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM. Should be able to guide/train team on use of. these. Should know SCM schema well enough to write custom SQL as needed.Development of BICC extracts and pipelines to deliver data to Snowflake EDW. Familiar with BICC offerings and can re-model the data for analytical use cases (Star/Snowflake EDW schema).Exposure to a Fusion SCM implementation that had custom extensionsFamiliar with functional aspects of Fusion Oracle SCM modules, including Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing, to align with our business requirements.Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain processes with our organizational objectives.Implement effective integration strategies to connect Oracle SCM with other critical systems and applications within the organization.Data Engineering Experience:Strong background in data engineering, including expertise in c processes, data warehousing, data modelling, and data architecture.Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines for collecting, cleansing, and transforming supply chain data from multiple sources.Design, develop, and manage data warehouses and databases to store and manage supply chain data efficiently.Oversee data engineering tooling and technology selection, ensuring robust data engineering practices.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create data models, dashboards, and reports that support data-driven decision-making.Qualifications:Required:Bachelors or mastersdegree in a relevant field.10 years of experience indata engineering with afocus on ETL processes and data warehousing.Proficiency in tools and technologies, such as Oracle SCM Cloud, Oracle Database, SQL, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud)Experience with Programming Languages such as Java/PythonExperience with cloud-based data solutions such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Understanding data warehousing concepts and the use of Oracle data warehousing solutionsDeep understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics, and industry-specific practices is crucial.Solid understanding of supply chain best practices and industry standards.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Understanding DevOps practices and tools for automating SCM-related processes and deployments can be advantageous.Nice to Have:Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, AWSCertification in Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud CertificationsExperience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)Experience with data analytics and visualization toolsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: 1,800,000.00 - 3,000,000.00 per yearExperience: Total work: 8 years (Required) data warehousing: 10 years (Required) ETL processes: 9 years (Required)Work Location: In person,
