If you enjoy being challenged and always doing something different and not routine tasks then this is the role for you.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full project life-cycles, development project schedules, and track milestones
• Collaborate with management to ensure the design and functionality of the platform is driving efficient productivity and value across the Organization
• Develop AI/ML models using statistical computer languages Python and/or R and deploy the ML models to Heroku, AWS, etc
• Provide recommendations for process and application improvements using automations built using statistical modeling
• Leverage a variety of tools and approaches to solve complex business objectives, from Statistical Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval/Extraction, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Image Processing, Rules Engines, Regular Expressions, Knowledge Graphs, and Semantic Search.
• Identify business problem, select appropriate performance metric, develop data science modeling/algorithmic approach, and evaluate success of that approach within constraints of data and timeline
• Build ingestion processes to, prepare, extract, and annotate a rich data variety of unstructured data sources (emails, financial data, and operational data, social media, news, internal/external documents, images, video, and voice)
• Refactor deploy and validate models; work with Customers iteratively to validate performance metrics, and sample output to drive towards a business-first solution; utilize APIs, platforms, containers, and distributed processing to achieve throughput goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of three years of experience leading work streams with at least two data scientists, engineers, and other data & analytics professionals, including innovation, quality management, utilizing analytics and software development processes for natural language processing, machine learning on unstructured data, and/or information retrieval; Multidisciplinary backgrounds
• Fluency in Python; Proficiency in AI related frameworks (NLTK, Spacy, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch); Experience with leveraging pre-trained models and transfer learning; Experience with platforms (Google Cloud, Heroku, and AWS); Ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly and to work efficiently under Unix/Linux environment with experience with source code management systems like Git/GitLab; Ability to work with a variety of databases (SQL, ElasticSearch, Solr, Neo4j)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• High level of confidence and comfort in working autonomously without constant supervision (self-starter, strong initiative, fast learner).
• Ability to thrive in a demanding environment while prioritizing multiple tasks among cross-functional teams
• A strong team player - dependable and steps up to help others
• Experience using statistical computer languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc.
• Experience in statistical and data mining techniques, including generalized linear model/regression, random forest, boosting, trees, text mining, social network analysis
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks
• Capable of running projects from initiation to completion with minimal oversight
• Creativity in problem solving with a process before tools proactive approach
• Passionate about the python and its application in the Finance area.
• Experience in reporting, data analysis and aggregation
