Job Description

    Job role:Front-end development experience using various JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Angular, NodeJS, Vue.js, Backbone.js, etc)At least one major front-end project using React/NodeJSExposure to audio/video and 3D rendering libraries (ThreeJS, WebGL, WebRTC, etc) desirable but not requiredStrong knowledge of the NodeJS/npm ecosystem and tools (grunt, webpack, gulp, etc)Willingness to work on NodeJS back-end services when neededExperience working with RESTful JSON-based web servicesExcellent understanding of OOP and design patternsExposure to DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery methodologiesStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent written/verbal communication skillsPrevious work on a Scrum or Kanban team using Agile principlesJob role description, tasks, activities and responsibilities:Understand business requirements and break them down into epics, stories, and tasksDevelop web applications, follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scriptsTranslate designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performanceTake responsibility for successful delivery of the solutionsContribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface or new technologiesDevelop products of the highest quality through strict attention to visual and interaction detailsEssential skills: React, NodeJS, npmLevel: Journeyman (3-8 years of experience)Working hours: Must have significant overlap with US Eastern Time zone.
