Successful candidate would be delivering

  • Efficient and optimized operations like Upgrades, Capacity additions, Hardware Evaluations/provisioning in On Premise and public cloud environments.
  • Analyzing system models for scalability and performance, and data driven support for System Infrastructure initiatives and enhancements in On Premise and Public Cloud environments
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of continuous integration tools, environment provisioning and development workflows.
  • Playing critical role in the journey of Systems Infrastructure towards next generation by transforming practices, processes, tools and automations including CI/CD pipeline.
Ideal candidate should possesMandatory Skills:
  • Proven experience in Linux/Unix system administration in scalable and high available RAC environments and public cloud (AWS/GCP).
  • Deep understanding of OS and its management including kernel space management
  • Hands on experience in supporting business critical infrastructure operations like upgrades, patching, and incidents.
  • Experience in production environments supporting performance analysis and monitoring.
  • Proficient and competent skills with code/scripting, e.g. Python, BASH, PowerShell etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery concepts and tools such as Jenkins/ Strata / Bamboo/ Git or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Terraform and Spinnaker
  • Good understanding of Micro-Services, SOA principles and surrounding technologies (such as containers; especially Kubernetes and Docker)
  • Proven and hands on experience in leading small projects/programs spanning couple of months, with full service ownership.
  • Subject matter expertise in designing, delivering and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with automation.
Good to have skills:
  • Developer experience and mindset
  • Exposure to multiple cloud environments
  • Working knowledge in Oracle like Databases on Linux
  • Micro services usage and provisioning
  • Experienced in working in globally distributed teams.
  • Experience in Agile culture by technology, and business
