Job Description

    Position: Senior Director-Digital Workplace Solutions/Digital Employee Experience Solutions (Leading MNC Financial Services Data & Insights Company)Role:- Provide local oversight to the Global Associate Technology Solutions technical team of 300+ global resources supporting Digital Workplace, DAX (Digital Associate Experience), HR, Operations, Finance, Legal, and M&A- Work with Global Domain leaders to identify a strategy for utilizing the various Global Capability Centre locations to ensure teams have the coverage they need in the area of Digital Workplace Solutions/Digital Employee Experience Solutions. Understand the intricacies of the various cultures in which all our teams operate and be an advocate for those local associates- Continue to evolve the strategy for utilizing Global Capability Centre locations and implement said strategy. Identify opportunities for innovative technologies to be included in the Global Capability Centres and optimizing follow the sun support and delivery activities.- Point of escalation to drive remediation across global teams for issues- Maintain an efficient and effective working relationship with leaders and teams within the region and coordinate follow the sun activities with other Capability Centre locations globally.- Drive continuous process improvement activities and efficiency by monitoring performance / feedback and implementing enhancements.- Provide local oversight for activities and performance of regional delivery teams in partnership with global delivery managers, providing direction and guidance as needed. - Drive execution of our Capability Centres recruiting and workforce strategy in partnership with HR (Human Resources) and global leaders with a focus on acquiring top diverse talent to meet the hiring needs.- Provide expert guidance to our leaders and hiring managers to attract accomplished, diverse candidates.- Experience in technical / commercial management of software support services or software development or customer care around IT (Information Technology) / Application services.- Build and develop a strong relationship network of IT professionals and suppliers.Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another related field.- 18+ years of experience in Information Technology management roles, with good experience especially in the areas of Digital Workplace Solutions/ Digital workspace/ Digital Employee Experience Solutions, etc.- Experience in technical / commercial management of software support services or software development or customer care around IT (Information Technology) / Application services.- Proven ability to build, develop, grow, and retain high performing global technical team providing follow the sun solutions in an on premises and remote virtual environment.- Proven ability for relationship management up to all levels of executive management with ability to navigate and influence across complex, cross functional reporting structures.- Proven ability to work collaboratively with global leaders to understand requirements, implement enterprise strategic solutions, and global support organizations.- Proven ability to act as a project sponsor and program manager for technology projects.- Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, SDLC (Systems Development Lifecycle) and Waterfall / Agile project management methodologies.- Self-starter, proactive and highly organized leader with demonstrable knowledge and experience in building teams and delivering IT systems and services for large organizations.- Exceptional communication skills for all levels of the organization (written, verbal and presentation).- Superior negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills.- Ability to manage, organize and prioritize effectively.- Solid resource planning and problem-solving skills.- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and a proactive, positive attitude.- Process driven with strong leadership skills and exceptionally Customer focused with the ability to create a culture of Customer centricity.- Willingness to travel to different work locations both within country and internationally up to 20% of the time.Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/ Pune/ HyderabadThis position is for a Client of Vertex Corporate Services which is a Leading MNC Financial Services Data & Insights Company,
