Job Description

Microchip products are at the heart of millions of consumer devices and networks, and we are looking for an exceptional person to join our team. A candidate placed in this position will be an important contributor in the USB and Networking Group Applications Team, focused on bringing advanced connectivity devices to market and supporting our worldwide customer base. The candidate should have experience in firmware development, system debug, and collaborating within a team in a challenging, creative environment.

  • Design and implement software solutions using C++ and Qt
  • Focus on high-quality code
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders in understanding their requirements and converting them into code.
  • Participate in the full cycle development process from requirements through design, development, test and maintenance
  • The Microchip FPGA Software Engineering team delivers a comprehensive software suite for designing Microchip s FPGAs and managing the entire design flow from entry, to synthesis, through place-and-route, timing, power analysis, and simulation.
  • We have a position in the Timing & Power Products group. As a key member of this R&D team, you will leverage your solid foundation in computer science to develop new timing and power related enhancements. You will be an important contributor to our team and to our company -- your work will become a vital component of our flow, and your discoveries will enrich the state of cutting-edge research.

Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
  • BE/BTech/MTech/PhD or equivalent in CSE/EE/ECE
  • 4-11 years of total experience in design and development of software products using C++.
  • Development experience in UI using Qt is a plus
  • Good prior domain knowledge in FPGA/ASIC is a plus.
  • EDA (ASIC or FPGA) tool related GUI experience would be a definite plus.
  • Good written and verbal communicational skills.
