Job Description

  • The successful candidate will work on SOC/FPGA products of Microchip and will design and verify software flows for Microsemi FPGA Libero SoC
  • Must be proactive in taking ownership of projects and problems, willing to take on challenging projects and open to creative solutions
  • Must be motivated to drive delivery and support of robust, high quality software
  • Test and enhance existing software test flows using system-level testing of FPGA Tool chain
  • Design, develop, implement, test, and verify designs based on Microsemi FPGA covering various configurators like RAM, DSP blocks, High speed protocols like Ethernet, DDR ,PCIe
  • Should be able to provide feedback FPGA architecture, use cases, tools, and documentation
  • Debug failures in simulation of the design and verifying design changes. Need to be proficient with writing test benches, BFM simulations with PCIe is huge Plus
  • Exposure to timing Analysis/Timing Closure is a plus
  • Should have exposure to regression testing, Automation of Key FPGA flows
  • Should be able to mentor junior members of the team and collaborate with stakeholders and help development teams in failure debug
Job RequirementsQualifications
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree Electrical Engineering
  • At least 7+ years of design and/or validation experience of complex FPGA features
  • Should have strong design and H/W debugging skills with proficiency in RTL languages VHDL and Verilog.
  • Knowledge of creating small application to validate FPGA designs is desirable
  • Experience working in a Linux environment, Perl, python orTCL scripting is a plus
  • Experience with embedded systems and RISCV or ARM architecture is a definite plus
  • Proficiency in at least one highspeed protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, DDR is desirable
  • Knowledge of competitive tools like Vivado, Quartus
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Willing to work with cross-functional team globally
