Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. You will also be working and coordinating with various other teams, across different products.Requirements: The candidate is expected to be technically hands-on, working with architects and the technical team. As a senior member of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. Developing application framework code mostly in Java, J2ee:REST/Web Services along with other web development technologies (J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, JQuery etc.).Participating in technical discussions and providing feedback depending on the needs of the team/departmentEngaging actively in the technical decision making processWorking with a team of highly technical and experienced software engineers.Ensuring compliance with development methodology and technical processParticipating in code reviewsRequired Skills:Must have minimum 6 years of experience working in software development.BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalentStrong knowledge of Java and J2eeExposure to Web Services / RESTKnowledge of NodeJS, AngularJS, Oracle Jet or any Javascript based tools is Preferred:Strong Oracle WebLogic knowledge or any webserver and knowledge is Oracle DB is mandatoryFamiliarity with software development life cycles and agile programming methodologiesStrong understanding of Product Lifecycle and QA Processes/MethodologiesExcellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skillsClarity and precision in verbal and written communicationAbility to learn new skills quickly as needed
