Job Description

  • We are looking for passionate engineers to join our team at Hyderabad who love to run and manage modern large scale services in production. As a LMTS in Core foundation services (Hyderabad), your responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and remediate production issues/incidents for the asynchronous processing platform and caching services
  • Engage with developers who build features using the platform and unblock them by providing required technical inputs.
  • Develop deeper insights into platform issues and work with engineering team to address them to prevent repeats.
  • Create automation/tooling that makes platform easy to operate at very high scale and improves incident metrics such as MTTR.
  • Work with Systems engineering team for activities such as providing inputs for OS patching, JDK upgrade etc.
  • Understand how customers are using the platform and help drive continuous improvement of the offering based on that.
  • Work closely with technical writers to create, update and review documentation for users and operators.
  • 24x7 on-call support on rotation basis including weekends.
  • Continuously raise standard of engineering excellence by implementing best DevOps practices.
Required Skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills clearly demonstrated in past projects.
  • Overall 10yrs years experience and 6 years in a production engineering/DevOps/SRE or similar role working onhigh scale distributed systems.
  • CI/CD, Cloud configuration management skills are NOT mandatory for this role
  • Knowledge of OO programming and concepts (Java, C)
  • Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python
  • Exposure to Linux platform, debugging, and performance monitoring tools
  • Exposure to container related technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker etc
  • Lead, collaborate, communicate, and mentor.

  • A strong background in open source technology.
