Job Description

    Overview We are looking for high energy and result oriented talent, coming with Capital Market Operations experience, who has demonstrated capabilities in Securities (Equity, Fixed Income / Bonds) back office operational processes for different roles in the LOB. The role requires in-depth understanding of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions & Income Processing / Asset Servicing, specifically in Corporate Actions event life cycle Event capture, event validation, position reconciliation (stock and cash), entitlement generation, claims processing and breaks / nostro management. The role holder will be responsible for Leading the Overall department covering a variety of financial products across EMEA / US markets. The role holder is expected to transform and create a Client focused unit and should be able to put customer satisfaction first. He/She should have a track record of maintaining effective customer relations and service program through delivery of SLAs and business objectives. He / She shall have a data driven approach to review all the key metrics produced, along with other senior management and build strong cross departmental relationships and ensure all risk and control functions are adhered to. He / She shall be responsible for driving process improvements and synergies on an ongoing basis and will liaise with global and local change teams to drive efficiency and innovation for existing and new markets and will monitor trends to make the processing of business more scalable within the budgeted headcount. He/She should be a good communicator with ability to influence cross functional groups/forums. Define key objectives & KPIs for each of the teams within the unit & provide the right guidance & leadership to enable them to achieve these KPIs Create a data driven unit with strong governance top down to achieve business outcomes, minimize risk and drive the team towards efficiency & Innovation Create a highly motivated & energized team, with key focus on talent retention by creating value for members through learning, upskilling and personal development, coaching and mentoring Create a strong partnership model with the client & other key stakeholders Plan & design resourcing strategy to manage work volumes, support design of succession plans for key team members. Create an environment of very strong governance with a clear direction of driving efficiency Accountability for running the operations within the budget, ensuring topline and bottomline targets are achieved consistently Leads regular governance (fortnightly, monthly business review meetings, Risk management meetings with onshore or Risk Management etc.) Govern on the job training plan for new hires; process remediation plans or efficiency initiatives and own and deliver projects within one s business process Graduation & Above,
