Job summaryWe are looking for high caliber and tested Senior Product Manager - Technical to start a project with strategic significance and high exposure. The initiative is fundamental to Amazon s future, and will provide great personal satisfaction and career development as we tackle some of the most intriguing problems in software architecture design and building highly scalable services. The project will have regular reviews with the company s senior leaders. The scope of the project is set to scale rapidly for the next few years post launch.In this role you will define scalable processes and frameworks leveraged by multiple cross-functional teams. You will be the lead strategist defining product vision and strategy, and own the product P&L. You will work directly with dedicated engineering teams to drive product development and influence fundamental technical design decisions. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment. You will be the owner of the business model, P&L, feature development, product roadmap, customer segmentation and pricing, and demand generation. You will drive product development across multiple cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for setting product management standards and expectations and delivering large, cross functional projects., 5+ years product management, product marketing, and/or business leadership experience in a technology context Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred Excellent communication and analytical sills- Experience with end to end product delivery from defining product vision to requirements to product launch Experience with product definition, roadmap strategy and tradeoffs of a product Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Post-graduate degree (MBA, MS, etc.) in computer science or related technical discipline Strong bias for action and get it done attitude Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment, as well as a rapid work pace A proven track record of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills Experience with large scale e-commerce platforms including systems involving complex business logic Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to scope technical requirements and prioritize Relishes ambiguity and change; devises frameworks to resolve trade-offs and prioritize Entrepreneurial drive, general manager/owner mentality Demonstrated success in cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across technical and business teams
