This role would be able to strengthen, develop, maintain , and optimize the recruitment selection processes in line with the strategies and policies set by the organization. This role supports Head of Marine People - Asia, who will own the implementation of the strategy which will include recruitment, onboarding for all seafarers, as well as performance management and development of seafarers. The primary area of focus will be continuous improvement of the Recruitment related activities while maintaining strong local presence, keeping abreast with local market intelligence and providing input to the Marine HR Strategy.Other key tasks: Support the end-to-end recruitment process for officers and ratings in the specified regions. Ensure selection of officer s and ratings should be in line with Maersk group standards and comply with the national and international requirements. Assist in creating/publishing advertisements of our requirements and monitoring effectiveness. Assist in carrying out recruitment drives at various locations across India. Carry out initial interviews of seafarers and further arranging technical assessments. Planning and monitoring of onboarding of seafarers post completion of recruitment process. Responsible for ensuring, all recruited seafarers have valid STCW documents. Assist in regional specific benchmarking exercises. Assist in pool management of seafarers. Assist in establishing, maintaining an effective cost control and records of all recruitment related activities. Assist in all recruitment related matters, Marine HR and otherwise Build up strong database of seafarers and further develop and implement the strategy of sourcing the right candidate.Show More We are looking forThe ideal candidate should be a postgraduate/graduate with good interpersonal and people skills. 3 - 5 years of Marine Recruitment/ Crewing/ Marine Operations or related experience. Possess good communication skills to be able to work closely with seafarers. Must have a good understanding of the competencies required for seafarers to serve onboard container vessels, with good understanding of shipboard operations. Have good stakeholder management skills and must be able to articulate inputs from stakeholders into the recruitment process. Possess analytical skills for analyzing information, managing data and information logically. Able to Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, innovative and a good team player.
