Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. Create test reports used for regulatory submissions. Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meets technical and functional requirements. Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Identifies and encourages areas for growth and improvement. Continues to strengthen industry knowledge and use that knowledge to improve the quality of our products. Additional duties as assigned.Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in computer engineering, Computer Scienceor a related technical field with 8 years of engineering experience Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded and software system testing. Strong understanding of embedded systems hardware and software architectures. Familiarity with programming languages C, C Strong understanding of embedded systems hardware and software architectures. Experience with scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python)Nice to Have Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries Experience with test case management software tools Experience with developing and maintaining automated testing systems Experience with testing software-controlled hardware devices Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with Agile development methodologies Experience with Security and Risk analysisAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
