Job Description

Experience: 3-6 Years (with at least 2 years of hands-on test automation expertise using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, RestAssured, etc)

Education: Any Graduation or Post Graduation

Below is the IJP Criteria:

  • Employee should have completed a minimum of 2 years of the total experience at ZenQ
  • Employee should be in the current project for at least 1 year.
  • Employee pursuing STAE roles should have a minimum of 2 years of Testing experience and those
  • Employees who are in the Automation career path are not eligible.
  • Employee should be willing to give a commitment of 1 year from the date of transition.
  • Strong background and experience on manual testing concepts, methodologies, SDLC models
  • Knowledge about principles of automation framework design, Test automation methodologies, Processes and standards
  • Proficient in test automation concepts, design and maintenance of automated test scripts
  • Should be proficient in the following areas
  • Selenium webdriver Protractor Appium Rest Assured
  • TestNGCucumberSpecflow
  • Selenium Grid
  • Strong exposure on version controlling tools such as Git, SVN
  • Strong exposure and hands-on experience in setting up Continuous testing pipeline with the following
    • Azure Devops
    • Jenkins
    • TeamCity
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS
  • Should have prior experience of interfacing with clients and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn fast, problem-solve and pick up new technologies as needed

Roles Responsibilities:

  • Understand test automation requirements from clients and define automation plans
  • Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts
  • Conduct Automation execution analysis to identify the root cause of the defect
  • Contribute in developing automation framework components
  • Report the project status to the clients
  • SupportTrain delivery teams on test automation requirements
  • Research on new ToolsTrendsBest practices on test automation
  • Execute test automation pilot projects
  • Participate in teleconferenceChat with client
  • Keep abreast of latest testing trends, technologies, processes, tools etc
