Job Description

Job Code : Cryostar Job Title / Position : Service Support Engineer Department : Sales & Marketing Cryostar Educational Qualifications : Mechanical Engineering Diploma/degree or equivalent preferred Technical / Subject Knowledge :Knowledge of Cryostar products including pumps and turbo machineryKnowledge of instrumentation and control systems and equipmentExposure to PLC systems and ability to troubleshoot control issuesFamiliar with variable frequency drives (VFDs)Ability to read engineering drawings (including electrical schematics)Electrical KnowledgeAbility to use measurement devices for troubleshootingGood computer skills (Microsoft and similar)Mechanical Engineering Diploma/degree or equivalent preferred3-5 years experience in a similar fieldExperience with industrial equipment and control systemsKey Role & Responsibility :The main activities of this position are in particular :

  • Provides support to customers in India, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Be able to perform on site Commissioning, Maintenance and workshop repairs activities on Pumps and Turbines
  • Coordinates with Service Supervisor in the planning of activities in the workshops and on customer sites, to ensure optimum customer service levels and timely response to customer needs.
  • Coordinates with Engineers in CSF to resolve technical issues and improve or solve reliability issues with equipment and machinery.
  • Works closely with BU Service teams in France regarding trouble shooting, commissioning and other service issues.
  • Responsible for contributing to CSI service revenue objectives
  • Demonstrate High Level of Commitment towards Safety
  • Participate in compliance with relevant processes and procedures concerning site visits and product safety.
