Job Description

Job Summary: The Officer, APAC Fund Services Support, based in Hyderabad will support service delivery & vendor management related activities associated with 3 rd party administration services for Invesco s Greater China and South East Asia businesses. Activities include but not limited to; day-to-day oversight of 3 rd party administrator services, service review support, management reporting, cost, performance & risk analysis, due diligence and, financial statement preparation and review.The role reporting to the Manager of APAC Fund Services team based on Hyderabad, is responsible for day-to-day operations and participation in strategic initiatives to deliver a superior investment experience to clients (internally and externally). He/She will work closely with Invesco s investment, technology, product line management, client relationships, and corporate functions (e.g., compliance and legal) where required. The incumbent will be a collaborative key member who can operate effective as part of a broader team and add continuous value to Invesco s capabilities. Key responsibilities/Duties:

  • Day-to-day operations of Invesco s 3 rd party service delivery framework, including fund administration, transfer agency, trustee services & custodians.
  • Maintenance of controls & procedures to prevent risk of error/quickly identify areas of potential risk, including but not limited to: NAV validation controls, cash and liquidity management controls, Transfer Agency oversight control support, FATCA/ CRS and AML/KYC controls.
  • Effective escalation and resolution of service-related issues.
  • Participate in fund launch projects
  • Production of management information reporting related to 3 rd party services performance, risks, issues, costs and initiatives.
  • Production of fund financial statements.
  • Effective maintenance of policy documentation such as procedures, workflows and management information.
  • Participate in initiatives/projects aligned to Invesco s business priorities.
Drive continuous improvement across the function utilization digital capabilities and delivering automation. Work Experience/Knowledge:
  • Moderate-to-significant experience of working within a service delivery function for a similar organization in the financial services industry.
  • Previous experience working within a similar function.
  • Proven track record for developing risk and controls for overseeing outsourced services.
  • Proven continuous development track record.
Knowledge:
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of fund accounting and transfer agency practice.
  • Good understanding of outsourced fund accounting and transfer agency oversight and controls processes.
  • Good understanding of fund financial statement production and review processes.
  • Good understanding of vendor management practice.
Formal Education:
  • Minimum Bachelor s degree or equivalent, Masters degree a plus
