Job Title : Sr. Data Quality AnalystJob Purpose (Job Summary):Within Invesco undertakes business analysis and process design work as part of the Data Governance Team to support the assurance of data quality and metadata managementYou will have authoritative level understanding of the data management landscape and specialist understanding of core data quality design patterns and the associated challenges involved with data analysis, modeling, quality improvement and Metadata management implementation projects including deep experience in using the following technologies: Informatica IDQ, Informatica Power center, Metadata Manager, PowerBI, along with experienced level of SQL skillsYou will have Extensive experience with and success in handling projects from inception to production rollout and support and strong project leadership and management skills to lead in order to efficiently meet strategic and tactical goals Interpersonal agility with the ability to drive large, multi-functional data quality & management programs, involving coordination with multiple partners and ability to help define and articulate the enterprise data management strategic vision and translate it into tactical implementable stepsStrategic decision-making skills with a high degree of latitude:You will be responsible for data profiling, Scorecards and outstanding design and development Data Quality rules driven by different data quality platforms, as well as data visualization components to support data governance processes and procedures. Additionally the Data Quality developer will be responsible for thorough analysis and implementation of using metadata, data quality and business intelligence knowledge to provide meaningful insights to clients throughout the entire lifecycle of the projectKey Responsibilities / Duties:

• The primary tasks associated with this role are to use data quality tooling to profile the project source data, define or confirm the definition of the metadata, cleanse and accurately check the project data, check for duplicate or redundant records
• Responsible for design, development, testing, deploying, and documenting data quality procedures and their outputs
• Ensure that the Critical Data Elements maintained in the central metadata repository align with the Data Quality Framework, i.e. that they have business rules / data quality standards associated to them; collaborate closely with data owners and consumers for that purpose
• Work closely with data stewards, ETL developers, and business analysts to analyze and translate business needs into a data quality management architecture that seamlessly integrates with the current system and data assets with the new strategy
• Develop the vision for an ever-evolving Data Quality improvement strategy that not only satisfies current needs but can be easily adapted to future needs as new sources of data input and requirements for data output are identified
• Partner with data stewards and business teams to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data
• Document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications
• Develop a solid understanding of end-to-end investment management processes, the required data to support these processes, and the data quality and delivery issues that may impact the business on an ongoing basis
• Work with business owners of data to assist them to establish appropriate quality assurance processes
• Help to compile management reporting dashboards of data quality metrics for the organization
• Research all available technologies, resolve suitability and provide guidance on the best solution for the project at hand
• Employ utmost attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to multifaceted client environments and changing business, operations and technology priorities
• Identify key areas of improvement. Raising any service risks and issues then using this information to recommend and implement changes to current procedures, processes and systems to reduce risk and improve both quality and service
• Strong written and verbal communications skills required; must be equally comfortable discussing the enterprise information management strategic perspective with executives as well as implementation details with operational staff and IT
• Ensuring that data quality issues are reviewed and that corrective & preventive actions are defined to resolve them (including ownership of the actions)

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• 10 years experience in Data Quality analysis in a financial firm or professional consultancy organization would be an advantage
• Minimum 4 years experience with Informatica IDQ
• Proven experience managing projects including responsibility for the whole project life cycle
• An understanding of the concepts related to data modelling and process flow design

• Ability to judge the significance of issues and raise accordingly to Data Governance Managers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Formal Education:

• Graduate Degree in computer science or relevant experience in the technology
