Job Description

  • 4-6 years experience in Information Security
  • Business Continuity Management practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards like ISO 22301
  • A strong understanding of Operational risk and resilience,
  • Knowledge of Business Process improvement methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices (COCO, COSO, ISO, ITIL, CMM, COBIT, etc.),
  • Capable of identifying aspects of an organizational structure and critical products and services, including the delivery mechanisms and IT associated with each, and the technical and operations infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of IT and Operations Audit methodology
  • Experience in developing corporate Policies and Standards.
  • Understanding of Operational Risk Management methodology
Responsibilities
  • Address all the findings generated during the Risk Assessment process and either mitigate them or implement action plan to reduce the Risk and a BC solution
  • Help in identification and implementation of a new tool for BC activities.
  • Manage the BC program by coordinating with all projects, functions, and stakeholders (including management)
  • Ensure that all Business impact assessments and relevant Business continuity plans are in place. This includes new functions, departments, or activities/applications.
  • Ensure that all the Business continuity drills are carried out as per the plan. This includes ensuring adherence to the calendars published.
  • Assist teams build and maintain their BC plans which includes trainings on Templates and drills and other handholding.
  • Report to management on the status of the organisational BCP.
  • Identified the recovery strategy of an application and to ensure that it is recoverable before going into production.
Technical skills
  • IT operations and requirements
  • Should have Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Use of BCP and/or risk management tool.
Certifications (any two)
  • Mandatory certification like (LA/LI) for ISO 22301, ISO 27001.
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP certification would be an added advantage.
  • Relevant Work experience: 3-4 years
