Is the number of people this role is supporting in the organization, freeing them up to focus on drug discovering for patients in need.To lead the FRA function within a country across divisions OR lead an FRA service line/ process/ area/ technology and ensure end-to-end service delivery to all Novartis divisionsYour responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the execution of regional / global strategies for own part of the organization & manage and ensure the development of a team of experienced FRA professionals and manage budgeting process for the area of responsibility. Manage the country internal financial controls; ensures appropriate compliance and usage by performing regular compliance tests and audits. Provide timely statutory and country reporting information to internal and external stakeholders, including regional finance officers. Ensure the integrity, viability and interoperability of country financial reporting processes and systems, including tax, inventory, corporate-control, payment and purchasing data. Manage the implementation of risk management processes and ensure existence and use of adequate risk management tools. Manage tax, compliance and audit reporting processes, provide analysis of financial information (monthly, quarterly and annual data) and ensure provision of necessary data to internal and external authorities. Manage the correct and timely implementation of financial control processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof. Evolve methodology and governance over key financial compliance components at Group level for digital topics including Access Controls, Fully Automated Controls and Robotic Cognitive Automation (RCA). Act as single point of contact for the ISRM team on SOX IT scope, procedures and evaluate potential impact on ICFR / Financial Compliance.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Effective communication of Financial compliance considerations Collaboration and leadership skills to align people and resources Strong understanding of the business process, related changes and risks, conduct and review of risk assessment and tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls. Good understanding of SAP, specific to the following: oSAP ECC: understanding of business process and controls in SAP environment SAP GRC Access Controls (incl. good understanding of SAP authorization concepts) and Process Controls Automated controls in SAP environments, primarily in ECC (E.g. FI, MM, SD) Good understanding of compliance aspects in relation to Robotic Controls Automation (RCA),
