  • Bachelor s degree in communications / Certifications in German language or related field
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a technical writer, editor in technical fields like automobile/rail transportation/aerospace.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • 2-4 years experience with a markup language such as HTML or XML
  • Fluency in German, in terms of spoken, written and reviewing new content.
  • Excellent skills in writing complex technical subjects in automobile/rail transportation/aerospace industry.
  • Localization skills from English to German and vice versa.
  • Proven experience of technical editing/writing
  • Working knowledge of Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA)
  • Strong HTML/XML skills.
  • Affinity for technology and knowledge of tools like TRADOS
  • Proven experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Ability to be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a global team environment.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with a strong focus for action and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with different business groups and get necessary information for creation of manuals.
  • Precise documentation and clear communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and coordination will be an added advantage.
