Job Description

  • Around 12 yeras of experience in Enterprise application development using Java/J2EE technologies
  • Excellent understanding of Enterprise Application Design and Architecture
  • Proficient in advanced java technologies like J2EE, JMS (ActiveMQ), Webservices, XML parsing & transformations, etc.
  • Experience building Java applications using commercial and open source frameworks
  • Expert knowledge of Java 8, JVM ecosystem, memory model, tuning, threading, reactive streams, modularization
  • Proficient in using Oracle and MongoDB databases
  • Provide solution to the technical challenges the team faces
  • Identify improvement areas and add value
  • Play key role in defining strategy, architecture and design for web applications
  • Provide multiple strategies to solve a business problem and recommend one based on effective decision making
  • Develop prototypes/PoC s based on the proposed solutions
  • Document Architectural models and communicate it to Business, Development and QA
  • Work closely with Product Management, Business and IT teams (Development and QA)
  • Strong in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Ability to apply Design Patterns and Best Practices in Enterprise application development
  • Experience in DB Design and modeling
  • Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
  • Provide the progress update on the deliverables to all to internal and external stakeholders in timely manner
  • Track key project specific metrics and submit to all stakeholders
  • Good understanding of integration patterns and technologies (Mulesoft preferred)
  • Comfortable to operate in an agile, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

Additional preferred skills

  • Knowledge of distributed computing, in memory computing and map-reduce frameworks
  • Experience with cloud based IaaS (AWS preferred) and distributed schedulers (Kubernetes, Mesos)
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
  • Experience with any API gateway solution
  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS framework
