Job Description

Tekla Detailer:

  • Preparation of 3D models for thickener product and other industrial buildings.
  • Generation of GA drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings and bom from the 3Dmodels.
  • Making self-checks of the drawings generated and maintaining a record of the same for future references.
  • Coordinating with other functions involved and the checking team in order to complete the activities within schedule timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tekla software
  • Familiarity with different types of connections, materials
  • Should be able to study and understand the design drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with one or more international codes like American.
Tekla Modeler:
  • Able to study structural drawings and be able to execute detailing projects.
  • Experience in Modeling using Tekla software.
  • Exposure to US Commercial Projects.
  • Ability to develop shop drawing models for manufacturing structural steel.
  • Capable of preparing and raising RFIs.
  • Modelling with respect to structural drawing & architectural drawings (where necessary).
  • Experience in Template editing and in preparation of custom components.
  • Having experience in Connection applications.
  • Responsible for the project along with the team leader.
  • Responsible to complete the projects within target date with service quality.
  • Must be having knowledge of aisc.
Tekla Checker:
  • Experience in Checking GA & Assembly drawings as against contract drawings.
  • Having exposure in US Commercial Projects.
  • Ensure that the sheets are legible.
  • Ability to identify/ finalize the RFIs along with Modelers.
  • Able to mark clouds in sheets wherever needed.
  • Experience in working with Tekla Software and checking the model.
  • Be able to guide Modelers, Editors to achieve the desired results.
  • Responsible to complete the projects within the target date with good service quality.
  • Working experience with aisc
