Our industry focus includes aerospace and defence, healthcare, telecommunications, rail transportation, semiconductor, geospatial, industrial, and energy.Job DescriptionOverviewCyient Digital is hiring a Web GIS UI/UIX Developer to join our Location Based Solutions (LBS) Team. Our LBS team is developing industry leading solutions that combine the power of Geospatial data such as Imagery and Lidar with augmented network planning and design. Reporting to the Product Owner, you ll be based in Hyderabad (India) working alongside a global team that includes members in the UK and US. You will be responsible for ensuring our Web Applications are designed with the users needs in mind, including the latest design thinking concepts and technologies, and ensuring our applications are fully responsive across devices.Your Skills

  • Three or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital products and solutions.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile and fast-moving environment (Scrum experience desirable).
  • Experience of Web GIS/Geospatial technologies and platforms.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate user-centered design process, design Thinking approach, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders
  • Take broad and ambiguous problems and turn them into delightful products that help users.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about UX and other areas of design and innovation.
  • Continuously wanting to learn and find new ways to question yourself and the status quo
Technical Abilities
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, In Vision, Adobe suites,
  • Basic working knowledge in UI development like HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills
  • Practical experience with UI components for the ArcGIS API for JavaScript - Charting, Mapping Controls, Forms, Navigation, Analysis Tools.
  • API design, implementation and testing.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and Visual mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, Visual Design, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
