Job Description

    Experience:Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Customer Service or Pricing Department in freight forwarding industry. DGM Ocean Procurement - located in Mumbai.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OCEAN PROCUREMENT:Procurement of rates from Shipping line in respective locations for Export and Import shipmentsProcurement of rates from overseas agents wherever applicableTrack and monitor rates on shipping line online platform regularly.Participate in Negotiation of long term/named account contracts with shipping lineNegotiation of contracts with transporters and channel partnersUpdate buy rates in SystemResolve rating disputes with shipping lineSpace Management on ContractsPricingQuoting for both import and export enquiries Prepare MRG sheet and share with sales personMake rate sheet for overseas agent Designing solutions for DDP/DDU shipments as and when needed Costing and setup of standard tariffs Responding to RFQs for Key accounts.Participating in Online BIDs for Key accounts MIS Prepare and Monitor trade lane wise performance.Monitoring performance of contracts.Weekly MIS to management TYPE OF SHIPMENT Mainly FCL shipments but includes LCL Export & Import (90% export) Occasional ODC, Reefer, Breakbulk enquires Strong Relationship and contacts with ocean carriers in India Inteegrity Career Solutions Pvt. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Adequate knowledge about trade lanes and services of shipping line from India.Up to date information about industry news and developmentsKnowledge about shipping line online systemsKnowledge booking/operations processes of carriers, ports and other vendorsMUST HAVE experience in Following trade lanesUSA Latin America Australia Europe & Mediterranean Candidates with following experience will have an advantageExperience in Customer Service and Operations Experience in handling USA contractExperience in handling pricing for more than 1000 container per monthExperience in working with overseas agentExperience in online Bidding platform such as Shipsy, Ariba, Gocomet etc WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Energetic Candidate with willingness to learnSomeone eager to invest time in growth of company and selfStrong analytical skillsCommercial acumen and critical thinkingCustomer Relationship Skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:Graduate in any disciplineGood command over EnglishExperience in using Microsoft Office, Outlook and ExcelAny additional qualification/diplomas in shipping/exim trade will help
