Job Responsibilities :.# Market insights, ideation, initial screening, opportunity creation, market assessment.# Business Development- concept building, technology, capex / opex, feasibility and building profitable project ideas.# Stage gate process.# Network with Industry, customers, associations, consultants, Licensors, Partners etc.# Skillful business analysis, questioning outliers and logical assessments.# Having all round ability- business, technology and projects.Job Accountabilities 1.Support the commercialization of several R&D initiatives cutting across domains like Petrochemicals, Refining, New materials, Bio-fuels/Alternate energy, Synthetic biology etc. 2.Conduct detailed external market analysis for R&D developed technologies and create robust strategies/business plans for execution/management approvals. 3.Identify the opportunities to monetize R&D developed technologies. 4.Design, negotiate and execute collaboration/licensing term-sheets/agreements.5.Identify and onboard external collaborators/partners to reduce the cycle time of commercialization of R&D initiatives.6.Evaluate the existing R&D project portfolio and develop valuation methodologies for R&D projects.7.Establish & ensure coordination and alignment with relevant stakeholders.8.Create sustainable capabilities for strengthening the R&D business development initiatives/processes.Skills & Competencies 1.Passionate and highly motivated individuals to work in Business development function at R&D.2.A Self-starter with ability to deliver time bound results under minimum supervision.3.Conducting techno-commercial analysis and feasibility studies.4.Market size estimations and business plan generation. 5.Ability to create cost structures and financial models.6.Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other MS office tools, etc.7.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.8.Capable of networking both internally and externally.9.Working with cross functional teams.Education Required : Management qualification from premium B-school + Engineering (Preferably chemical)Experience Required :Min. 5 years (Relevant experience in business analysis/strategy/consulting/etc. )Education Requirement :
  • B. E. / B. Tech in Chemical / Polymer / Textile / Mechanical engineering + MBA
