Job Description

Dear Professionals,Hope you are doing well & Healthy!We are looking for Immediate joiners for below position, please have a look & let me know your mode of interest DescriptionAutomation test engineer (SDET) contributing to all major QA functions to ensure best customer experience with our products.Qualification and ExperienceEssential

  • BE/B.Techor equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation using JavaScript/TypeScript
  • >70% of day-to-day work experience should be converting test cases to automation scripts
Highly desirable
  • Coding experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience/Knowledge inCodeceptJStest automation framework
  • Hands-on scripting experience in page object model-based test automation framework
  • Good debugging skills. Should be able to root cause, differentiate issues as product/ script bugs
  • Hands-on experience in using Git based source code repository, associated code commit flow
  • Experience in using network debugging tools like Charles/Wireshark/fiddler is preferred
  • Exposure to working on CI-CD (Jenkins/GitLab)
  • Hands-on experience in testing of OTT applications on Embedded products in Consumer electronics space Smart TV, Consoles, or media streaming devices such as Roku
  • Must be willing to learn new programming languages based on Project requirements
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Design and develop test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript for given OTT UI/Functional test cases
  • Testing developed scripts on Xbox, LG, Samsung and Comcast and commit stable code to master
  • Going through daily test automation reports across platform, debugging and fixing the issues
  • Adding improvements to test automation framework
  • Understanding the requirements and developing test cases for all product use cases in context of OTT apps on embedded streaming devices and convert them to test automation scripts
  • Execution of test cases (manual and automation) across multiple device platforms such as LG, Samsung, Xbox, Comcast,etc
  • Logging defects with all relevant details (debug, network logs,etc) and tracking it till closure
  • Work closely with developers to ensure a successful, high quality user experience by developing highly stable test automation scripts and framework
