Job Description

    The candidate must possess the following skills:Domain experience in Capital markets.Strong Understanding of at least one financial asset class and its valuation, trade lifecycle, market and/or credit risk managementSystematic way of thinkingExcellent communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills ability to work with multiple teamsApproachable personality and willing to guide and explainExcellent analytical skillsAdept at using MS ExcelCandidate will be responsible for supporting the product and working with product management to enhance product functionality.Product support will include analyzing customer issues, explaining product functionality and validating the functionality developed.Product enhancement will require extensive interaction with Product Management to gather requirements, producing functional specifications and validating the functionality developed.The product is functionally rich and offers cross-asset coverage along with trade capture and asset-specific desk-level risk managementIt also calculates enterprise-wide, Basel II/III-compliant market and credit risk metrics such as value-at-risk, stress testing and credit exposure profiles, allows drill down to see interactive and graphical results for portfolio hierarchies, sources of risk and change analysis.Performs fully audited trade approvals and trade life cycle processing, including options processing and rate administrationGenerates sophisticated accounting and documentation outputs and manages payments
    • Develop an in-depth functional/domain know-how and work flows of the products.
    • Discuss with Product management team and customer services and define detailed requirements documents and functional specifications
    • Guide the developers and testers and provide functional inputs as required.
    • Perform test cases reviews to ensure that the coverage is sufficient and business perspective is maintained in the system testing.
    • Conduct sessions for the team to improve their functional knowledge.
    • Work in close co-ordination with Product Management, Services and Development teams to resolve and respond to customer issues.
    2+ years exp. in Capital Markets / Trading / Risk managementGood understanding of an enterprise level RDBMS, ideally experience with Microsoft SQL ServerAdept at using MS ExcelDomain experience in Capital markets.Should be able to provide domain and subject matter expertise.Strong Understanding of at least one financial asset class and its valuation,Knowledge of Market and/or credit risk managementExcellent spoken and written English
