Job Description

    1. Lead the customar warrenty deployment projects across all the Business. Guide coach team members on Customar warrenty workstreams. 2. Verify information submitted to insure conformance with warranty policies and procedures. 3. Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results4. Download warranty data from customers native systems and Eaton s systems and import it into the existing Access database applications such as Eaton CQM warranty system , Customar s Latista system , Customar s CMMS system, operational data center warranty issues and warranty systems of newly targeted strategic customers (future scale up of a more focused version of the Customar process)5. Link issues from the customer s warranty system to Eaton s CQM system warranty issues a. Interpret Access query results that show issue ID related content found in free form text fields sourced from both the customers warranty systems and Eaton s CQM system b. Assign linkage information (e.g. customer issue ID number = CQM issue ID number) using an existing Access maintenance screen.6. Select warranty issue classifications for each customer issue by interpreting free-form text fields such as issue descriptions and corrective actions. Categorizations to apply include: a. High level equipment / product line that is having the warranty issue b. Component that is having the issue within the equipment c. Failure mode d. Issue severity (based on rules evaluating safety and impact on equipment functionality) e. Follow up with the customer or with other Eaton resources to handle unusual / hard to interpret free-form text field content7. Calculate customer impact scores for warranty issues a. Use existing Access tool to apply customer impact score to each warranty issue b. Use existing Access tool to calculate aggregate impact scores for issue groups (equipment/component/failure modes combinations) c. Communicate top high impact issue groups to the ESSG Customer Quality Manager; ultimately sent to Eaton plants for 8D root cause and corrective action initiatives d. Track plant progress for the requested 8Ds8. Generate metrics / KPI results required by Eaton and customers a. 6 Customar customer required KPIs b.Quality metrics report c. Running of existing Access queries, Machine Learnings applications output used to populate existing KPI spreadsheets d. Publication of KPI spreadsheets to related Eaton plants and to the customer e. Future customers to be added during the eventual scale up of this process 9. Ability to execute likely travel to the USA for initial one-on-one training10- Closely work with Business Program Managers and quality Managers and Identify customar warrenty related issues projects and resultions . 11- Horizontaly deployed best practices from one cusomar to other customars .QualificationsQualification: - BE / Btech/ Masters ( Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical/Production/industrial Engineering/)Years and area of experience required- 6 8 Years of experienceTechnical knowledge- Supplier Quality Management Process Aspects of electrical equipment product lines Data Management and Analytics Manufacturing Process Engineering IT enabled processes and projects Experience in usage of Customar programs, advanced experience with Excel & PowerPointEaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
