Job Description

    * Purpose: To perform Verification & Validation activities for SCADA and other windows-based applications used in Oil & Gas field. Emerson s leading-edge SCADA platform is designed for remote Oil and Gas mission-critical applications where data integrity and uptime are essential over complex communication networks. This role is as a Verification and Validation engineer within the Scrum team. Person will be closely working with developers to validate new enhancements, performs automation for new features and conduct regression testing. Job Description (responsibilities): Responsibilities of the job will include
    • Participate in scrum meetings and understand scope of testing,
    • Understand features/requirements and develop test cases,
    • Perform script automation, Testing and report own status
    • Collaborate with other test engineers to achieve test team s goals.
    • Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required and be able to work independently
    • Develop product domain expertise
    , * REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    • Good Working knowledge of C# and Automation Testing for Windows Applications
    • Working knowledge with Test automation tools, preferable Ranorex
    • Skilled in testing products used in industrial automation
    • Exposure to PLC, SCADA, RTU, Flow computer, Industrial protocols
    • Engineering Graduate in Electronics/Electricals/Computer/Instrumentation
    • Minimum 2 years working or relevant experience
    • Good to have basic ISQTB certification/knowledge
    • CORE COMPETENCIES Candidate shall possess good problem-solving skill, Deep dive in problem, Out box thinking to fail system, Flexible to work load and timing, Quick learner, Good communication skills
