Job Description

    Description Responsibilities :
    • Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality.
    • Understand end-to-end testing requirements and create/maintain test plans for functionality and system testing.
    • Strong in hands-on knowledge on UI/API/Functional Testing along with programming skills.
    • Contribute to Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
    • Participate in the enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our projects.
    • Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in a timely manner.
    • Should assume the responsibility for end-to-end product delivery
    • Ability to work independently for own tasks and collaboratively with rest of the team to achieve common goals.
    • Work with Global Engineering team encompassing multiple time zones as required.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 6+ years of experience in testing distributed backend software architectures
    • 2+ years of work experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications
    • Strong experience in web applications user interface and RESTful web services testing ( HTTP, HTTPS, REST APIs, and JSON )
    • Experience in Java programming and/or Python, Shell scripting required
    • Hands on experience with one or more automation tools - Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber
    • Good exposure to relational databases (Oracle). Experience in writing and understanding DB queries.
    • Comfortable with CI/CD build processes and managing QA Environments as well as working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins.
    Additional Competencies:
    • Experience working in the security domain
    • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux internals.
    • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
