Job Description

    Qualification: B. E./ M.E./ M.Tech.(Electronics Engg. Or Electronics and Communications Engg.)Experience level: 2-5 yearsMust have skills:
    • Well versed with Shell and/or Python scripting
    • Hands on knowledge of MATLAB (beginner level).
    • Basic knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP stack, OSI model etc.)
    • Basic idea of L2 protocols (e.g. WiFi and Ethernet)
    • Basic idea (operation) of Linux and Windows operating systems
    • Sound understanding Signals and Communication Systems including Antenna theory, Modulation and Coding, Analog and Digital signal processing
    • Ability to operate signal generators and signal analyzers
    • Strong Analytical Skills
    Nice to have skills:
    • Packet capture tools such as Wireshark etc.
    • Linux Operating systems internals
    • Understanding how the hardware/ firmware/ drivers and system software operate with each other
    • Understanding of 802.11 protocols (11abg/n/ac/ax)
    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct experiments with Arista s WiFi Access Points for characterization of performance and stability
    • Design and carry out experiments to understand underlying causes of performance issues related to hardware and RF systems of WiFi Access Points
    • Coordinate with 3 rd party external labs for setup and measurements
    • Work closely with Arista Access Points Engineering and System Testing Teams on setting up and executing experiments and analyzing data to identify performance limitations and potential bottlenecks
    • Work with hardware Manufacturers for issue replication and analysis
