Job Description

    Role: Asst. Manager Compounding & RM Development Position Title: Department: Research and Development Grade/Level M1 Reporting To: Sr. Manager Compounding & RM development Reportees: Organisational Chart : Vice President Plant Operations Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) To ensure new compounds & materials are developed as per the customer requirements, Business Plan and R&D strategy meeting targeted QCD incorporating novel technology and innovations. To ensure the learnings/findings are available for Knowledge management. KEYPERFORMANCE AREAS
    • Compound development as per Technology Road map
    • Adherence to NPD/ OEM compound Q,C,D.
    • Adherence to Compound Q,C,D for Process improvements
    • No. of Patents/Paper publishment
    • Technical Economy from Compound changes
    • New RM technology development
    • New compounding technologies development
    • Knowledge management through learning sheet updating
    KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Strategi c:
    • Technology development rolling calendar preparation.
    • Technical economy rolling calendar preparation.
    Deliverables/Objective
    • New technology compound bank available for future requirements
    • Continuously meeting customer requirement (replacement/OEM) by developing new compounds.
    • Compound development for continuous improvement of Manufacturing Process & Product
    • Securing IPR by generating patents from compound development
    • New Technologies are developed through external / Internal Experts
    • Value engineering concepts are continuously implemented in compounding.
    • Enhance Technical Competency level
    Education and Experience Required Education: B. Tech / M. Tech (Rubber Technology) Experience: 3 to 5 Years,
