• You will take part in quality assurance activities across Engineering Teams, assist in the successful execution of test strategies, plans and schedules
• You will collaborate with key stakeholders to influence learning and adoption of best testing and quality strategies and practices throughout the organization
• You will continuously monitor and calibrate all QA activities, results, defects, root cause analysis, to identify areas of improvement and drive required improvements
• Optimize the testing approach and increase quality by leveraging testing principles
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs using respective tools.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers/support and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
• Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.
What makes you a match for us
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the software quality assurance and/or engineering industry.
• Strong communication skills to ensure QA vision is understood and adopted comprehensively and correctly-inspires others to adopt the highest quality standards
• Understanding of automated testing tools, software development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in a variety of software test methodologies and capacity to innovate upon them to drive continuous improvements
• Familiar with Context-Driven testing practices and methods, preferably on applications built using the SaaS model of development
• Able to work on a diverse team, build networks, promote collaboration and lead by example
• Able to think independently with keen attention to details
• Well organized and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
