Job Description

    • Help reach business goals for RD DDU by feeding the pipeline and bringing in new technologies.
    • Responsible for aspects of external collaborations from management of joint project teams and scientific decisions to ensure achieving stage gates and milestone criteria on timely manner and within allocated budgets.
    • Coordinate, communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure implementation of research plans and meeting stage gate criteria.
    • Engage and elicit support from colleagues in various departments for the design and execution of in vitro, in vivo studies, developability assessment of drugs and meeting criteria for stage gates.
    • Working closely with External Alliances and acting as guidance for internal colleagues to ensure adhering to Research Agreements in terms of timeline, budget, confidentiality and all aspect of the collaboration.
    • Guiding external and internal team meetings for the design and planning of research plans.
    • Collaborate and engage with several teams and relevant functional groups to ensure sound scientific design and execution of experiments to reach decision making points with solid scientific data.
    • Influencing external collaborators in scientific innovations, rigorous experimental designs, data interpretations, critical thinking, and necessary pivoting in project directions. Providing guidance to junior team members in scientific decision, data analysis and following timelines. Being aware of the critical junctures for seeking help from colleagues with expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharma-codynamics, toxicology, process development and other relevant areas.
    • Advocate for new technologies, following literature and industry trends in drug delivery modalities and disease understandings. Encourage risk taking and open-mindedness.
