We are hiring Customer Program Managers who will be instrumental in orchestrating our engagement with top-tier customers.About YouYou have the right balance of business acumen and technical depth and are passionate about delivering a great customer experience and empowering business outcomes. Regarding technical depth, you possess a good understanding of the class of products found in the Azure Data portfolio. You can speak credibly and with nuance regarding issues and workstreams, and you understand how the technical issues relate to business objectives. Regarding business acumen, you know how to manage communications across a variety of stakeholders the customer, product & engineering, the field, etc. You can drive clarity and a shared understanding, leading toward a single source of truth and downstream efficiencies. About the JobIn strong collaboration with the program management, engineering, and field teams, deliver a world-class experience with Azure Data by:
1. Managing end-to-end data estate migration and modernization projects scoping, sizing, resourcing, defining success, and managing risk by mitigating timeline gaps and dependencies between product groups, delivery dates and customer requirements and schedules.
2. End-to-end orchestration navigating stakeholders (customer, partner, field) across the various teams in the Azure Data portfolio.
3. Delivering clear and effective stakeholder communication:
1. Status updates that align with customer processes and expectations.
2. Transparent (bilateral) dashboards that provide a real-time source of truth regarding status and sentiment (ex: heatmaps).
3. An always-ready ability to brief Azure leadership in response to customer escalations.
1. Driving the feedback loop - managing a list of product asks (feature requests, sentiment, etc.) and requirements to ensure that our products can be effectively consumed by the customer.
2. Formalizing our learnings make sure that our learnings do not simply become tribal knowledge. Identify patterns, refine best practices, obtain customer references, and discover strategic insights. Over time, improve our ability to be proactive.
, QualificationsIf you can do the job, you can do the job. Qualifying evidence includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• 5+ years of experience in driving customer outcomes in on behalf of a technology firm.
• Experience working in Fortune 500 customer environments.
• Background in data management, analytics, software engineering or related fields.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguous starting points.
• Project or program management experience.
• Proven ability to engage both executives and hands-on practitioners.
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant graduate degree (MS, PhD, MBA).
• Vertical industry domain expertise, especially in Retail and B2C
• Credible project or program management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.).
