• Owning the performance and reliability of Developer Productivity Applications and Systems
• Designing and implementing monitoring and operational routines/playbooks and own execution of those on a daily basis
• Minimizing the risk of reliability-related downtimes as pertaining to durability, availability, and performance
• Using software skills to develop tools and to proactively detect production issues and improve MTTR.
• Collaborating with Development and QA groups to constantly improve the reliability and performance
• Influencing best practices for observability of (tracing, alerting, monitoring, and logging) into software design and implementation
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
• Have 5-7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience of operations, analysis and troubleshooting of large scale cloud-based Infrastructure or large scale web based applications.
• Have demonstrated experience in developing automations in Python or other scripting languages.
• Possess experience working in Unix/Linux environment
• Experience in building effective monitoring solutions using Grafana or equivalent designing and implementing alerting for proactive monitoring
• Demonstrate experience with SAML, Oauth2, Apache, Tomcat, Jenkins, Identity provider (IdP) and related technologies.
