Job Description

- Lead Engineer for leading a team that handles Process Automation in Automation Anywhere and a team of Java developers.- Requires a motivated, enthusiastic, and pro-active engineer with an excellent can-do attitude. Apart from the responsibilities of designing and developing the Robotic Process Automation bots on the Automation Anywhere platform, the Lead Engineer plays a significant role in managing the RPA Center of Excellence team, by meeting the stakeholder expectation in terms of quality and turn around for self and the team, guiding and troubleshooting the issues of the team. In this position the Lead Engineer is responsible to mentor, coach and motivate the team.Duties and responsibilities :- Create a positive team experience- Mentor and supervise staff engineers- Interact with teams throughout the firm to achieve project objectives- Coordinate the workflow and Project management in collaboration with teams in India & US- Ensure 100% completion and timely delivery of work by the team members- Involve in Peer Code review process.- Proactive work status update to India and US liaison- Accountable for exceptional, high- quality work products and client deliverables for self and the team- Configure RPA solutions in accordance with rigorous client specifications.- Strong full stack development support for Java applications- Develop RPA Bots on the Automation Anywhere platform for any given business processes or platform.- Develop Automation Anywhere platform and product expertise, and utilize bot design and development best practices to develop high quality product- Analyze diverse and Medium to Complex business and technical problems and provide solutions.- Involve in the technical design and prepare clear design documents.- Troubleshooting and debugging any technical problems.- Complete tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed.- Ensure adherence to Service Line Agreement always.- To attend and actively participate in meetings, offering ideas, insights and recommendations towards process improvements, which will enable the team to improve its overall efficiency.- Tracking the updates in SOPs/Job Aid for internal and external reference.- Handle administrative team management tasks.Education and Experience :- Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Accounting preferred- 8+ years- experience as a Java full stack developer with strong FDE skills- 6+ years of full-time RPA and development experience- Great command of at least one RPA tool is highly desired (Automation Anywhere preferably)- Knowledge of at least one enterprise programming language (.Net or Java)- Experience scripting in one or more languages (PowerShell, bash)- Experience with Robotic Process Automation technologies- Experience with the software development life cycle- Exposure to enterprise software development methodologies- Exposure to front end web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)- Exposure to database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle Database)- Exposure to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence tools and techniques- Experience in the managing the overall process by working closely with the team.Skills :- Good analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills- Experience in understanding release and deployment processes into production environments- Strong Experience in Object Oriented Design, Relational Database Design, and XML Design- Ability to lead collaborative discussions with team members and brainstorm with other developers in a team environment- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Strong English communication skills - verbal and written- High attention to detail- Ability to meet strict deadlines- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams in US / India to manage projects and deliver them on time.Work Environment :- Shift hours : 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST. - A reasonable amount of overtime will be required based on the workload.,
