Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • Should able to do Manual/Automated Test & Test Automation Development.
  • Provide automated, and some manual functional testing as well as model-based testing of our most high visibility products.
  • Work closely with development, product development, and operations departments to ensure quality and timely services are delivered.
  • Automated and manual functional testing of new products/product features as well as automated regression testing of existing functionality.
  • All tiers of testing manual, automated, front-end, and back-end. Reporting bugs and tracking status through a resolution system.
  • Support project teams with technical explorations that are needed to develop an understanding of prospective solutions which will extend and provide future business functionalities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Technical Exploration analysis, alternative evaluations
  • Coordination with product owners, Tech leads for needs understanding
  • Testing of developed solutions
  • Documentation of technical and testing aspects of explored solution
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Degree level or industry experience equivalencyCourses related to the area of responsibility and project management. Experience:7+ years experience with Application development and commissioning and related functionsTechnical Skills / Competencies:
  • Should have experience of conducting FAT / SAT, and able to Manage the client.
  • Writing, reviewing, and updating product test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and scenarios
  • Execution of test plans, automated test scripts and test cases to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications, and/or requirements.
  • Experienced PLC application development/commissioning using IEC61131-3 standards. Experienced Rockwell / Codesys 3.5 tools
  • Experienced HMI/ SCADA programming mainly Wonderware/Aveva System Platform
  • Good knowledge and working experience of various industrial communication protocols Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, OPC-UA/DA.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, GA drawing, IO list, etc. panel automation project related documents.
  • Experience drafting and execution the test cases and test strategy s
  • Work Experience Pharma is added advantage.
  • Python and/or .Net knowledge is added advantage.
  • Good verbal and written Communication Skill
  • Document technical solutions for handover to stakeholders
  • Ability to discuss solutions and requirements with supervisor and users
  • Ability to document solutions and configuration in technical documents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn New technologies
