Job Description

Agri Investment Analyst- Identification of promising start-ups through primary & secondary sources- Help develop investment thesis through primary and secondary research, analysis, synthesis into a coherent PoV- Support on deal diligence - primary research e.g. consumer interviews, market sizing, competitor benchmarking, creation of internal investment memos- Support on firm activities e.g. organization of events, creation of content pieces- Understanding business drivers and identifying investment opportunities- Monitoring existing investments and updating model and reports basis results and other material events- Works effectively with team members and other departments to develop and execute an aligned long-term strategy that upgrades Cos portfolio.- Leads corporate enterprise valuation efforts by performing quarterly Cos asset tests and net asset value updates.- Performs analysis and prepares investment proposals to support capital allocation decisions.- Provides periodic support on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.- Assists with identifying target investment regions by performing research and economic analysis to identify investment trends, risks and value drivers.- Conducts data gathering, research, and analysis in support of recommendations for business process improvements.- Measures investment performance on acquisitions by tracking actual performance and comparing against pro forma.- Researches capital markets, ESG trends and timberland private equity information to identify acquisition prospects and timberland investment trends.- Analyzes financial statements, models and forecasts to develop new financial projections as applicable, identifying trends in data, and applying analytical skills and judgment to form well-reasoned conclusions.Qualification And Experience:1. Graduate & MBA in Agriculture is Must with 2-5 years of work experience in technology, consulting or business roles in Agricultural or Agro Chemical Industry.2. Strong problem-solving & analytical skills3. Ask right questions and generate strong initial hypotheses, gather right data points and then go deep into the data to generate insight, apply good judgment to improve effectiveness of analysis4. Prioritization: Simultaneously balance multiple tasks, often with shifting priorities5.
