Job Description

    Role Responsibilities
    • Design and build advanced applications for the web and mobile platform
    • Work closely with other teams throughout development iterations in an agile environment.
    • Write code that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns
    • Develop systems that are maintainable and scalable
    • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
    • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
    • Diagnose and identify issues to provide quick solutions
    • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
    • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
    Desired Skills and Competencies
    • Deep familiarity with Python and at-least one Python web framework such as Django or Flask
    • Have developed one or more websites/products
    • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.
    • Understanding of databases and SQL preferably with MYSQL
    • Decent knowledge of HTML CSS and Javascript
    • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
    • Written and used Rest APIs
    • Worked with Django rest framework
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
    • Knowledge of Celery and AsyncIO is good to have
